Our
Story

Hi, I'm Lucy.

Founder of Nature's Law.

After finishing an art course at college in 2019, right when the world felt like it was turning upside down, I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do next... I decided to go down a more practical path and started a Business Administration apprenticeship with the family business, Landpod. Following my apprenticeship I worked with my dad to set up Landpod Camping Club, an exempt organisation that certifies land exclusively for Landpods. We're licensed to certify suitable land as official Landpod Certified Sites and we've been running for over five years! I still work behind the scenes at Landpod today.

While running the club, I noticed something important - Landowners were reaching out  for advice and support, even if they weren't using Landpods. Since we wanted to keep the exclusivity of Landpod Camping Club, I launched Fireside Camping Club in 2024. It's become a great way to support more landowners across the industry, no matter what type of structure they're working with. I have the knowledge for certifying appropriate land and I wanted to make that more accessible for people who want to do something a bit different with their land.

Soon after, Greendown Shepherds Huts got in touch! They loved the club model and wanted their own for their clients. That's how Greendown Owners Club was born, an exclusive club solely for Greendown Shepherd Hut products. This now runs as part of Nature's Law. (To the clubs!)

Over time, I've gathered a collection of trusted resources - from power suppliers and insurers to camping gear and booking platforms... all the bits and pieces that make setting up easier.

At Nature's Law, I'm passionate about sharing what I've learned and helping landowners feel confident stepping into the world of alternative accommodation. Whether you're just exploring the idea or already have something up and running, we're here to help you grow.

Success Story:

Mark, a seasoned traveler who’s met people from all walks of life, had a bold vision. He owns a beautiful sloping garden overlooking the historic Conwy Castle - set within the grounds of a Grade II listed building and part of a UNESCO World Heritage site.

I worked closely with local authorities, going back and forth to navigating the challenges and details needed to bring his dream to life, all while carefully upholding our responsibilities as an exempt organisation. Our perseverance paid off when his site was officially certified under the Landpod Camping Club.

Today, Mark’s site proudly hosts five of Landpod's largest units - the stunning Eden Lodges - offering guests an unforgettable stay with breathtaking views steeped in rich history. This certification represents more than just permission—it’s a testament to how, with the right care and respect, even the most sensitive and protected land can be opened up for sustainable, responsible enjoyment, preserving their beauty for generations to come.
